Our client in Blairsville/Johnstown is seeking a Controller to join the teamPosition Overview:- Leading all budgeting and forecasting activities.- Conducting detailed financial analysis to inform decision-making.- Managing financial reporting processes and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.- Overseeing compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.- Supervising and mentoring accounting staff.- Collaborating with leadership to develop and implement financial strategies.- Driving initiatives to improve financial processes and efficiencies.Job RequirementsRequirements:- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance.- Minimum 5 years of general accounting experience, including standard cost and manufacturing environments.- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP and SOX.-Effective and persuasive presentation skills.- Supervisory experience.- CPA/CMA certification and experience with lean office/manufacturing are pluses.
