Summary:Responsible for the accounting and financial operations of the company, to include the production of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports, maintenance of accounting records and development of policies and procedures to facilitate all accounting related functions. Insures that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Oversee the flow of all financial information from the initial transaction through completed financial statements.Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making. .
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all state, federal, and applicable international laws and regulations for financial and tax reporting. Including periodic bank reporting and federal surveys.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor, manage, and forecast the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimal capital allocation.
- Strategic Planning and Support: Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term business strategies. Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations. Support strategic initiatives and business growth through data analysis and financial planning.
- Financial Policy Development: Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the organization.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee the AP/AR functions, including client billing, to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities. Implement effective internal controls and financial procedures.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, manage and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Internal Controls & Financial Policy: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any financial discrepancies or risks. Establish, maintain, and document financial policies and procedures for the organization.
- Annual Audit and Tax Planning: Coordinate Audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and accessible. Work with third party firms to Managing tax strategy, planning, and compliance to minimize liabilities.
- Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banking relationships and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Process Improvement/System Implementation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. Leverage technology and best practices to streamline financial processes and reporting. Overseeing the selection and implementation of financial software and systems.

Position and Work Environment:
- The office provides a modern, technologically advanced work environment that supports a balance of in-office and remote work. Must be in office assigned (2) twice per week.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a preference for experience in a privately held company.
- Experience in an HOA environment, standard costs and basic variance analysis is strongly preferred.
