Job Description:

What We Are Looking For:We are seeking an experienced Controller with a CPA accreditation to oversee all accountingoperations, ensure financial stability, and support our company's continued strategic growth. AsController, you will manage our Finance team, maintain financial controls, and produce accuratefinancial reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in inventory accounting, anadvanced understanding of NetSuite, and a proven track record of building and scaling financeteams to support business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliancewith GAAP and company policies.
  • Oversee the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy in all financial documents.
  • Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger,and financial reporting.
  • Reconciliation of bank, payroll, journal entries, and credit cards.
  • Create new financial reporting package post-month-end-close reporting to includefinancial statements, dashboards and KPI's
  • Manage inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and costanalysis.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure dataintegrity.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including payroll taxes,and manage tax filings.
  • Review, evaluate, and implement accounting systems, policies, and procedures toimprove operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and ensureregulatory compliance.
  • Lead annual 1099 productions and scheduling so it's complete in timely manner
  • Oversee creation and quarterly accountability of departmental budgets.
  • Optimize financial systems, leveraging NetSuite for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide monthly financial insights and recommendations to senior management tosupport business growth, including involvement in strategic planning, mergers, andacquisitions.

Requirements:

  • CPA required
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least three years in aleadership role.
  • Experience in inventory accounting is required; experience in the beauty or skincareindustry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of NetSuite and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience managing financial operations, audits, and regulatory compliance.
