Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting function for our company.
- Drive the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, including SEC reporting and compliance with GAAP and SOX 404 requirements.
- Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and maintain strong working relationships.
- Manage and mentor a tenured and qualified finance/accounting team, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
- Advise on financial strategies, risk management, and long-term financial planning to support business growth and success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Proven experience leading a finance/accounting team in a company's aggressive growth period.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX 404 compliance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with external auditors and managing the audit process.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
