Job Title: Controls ElectricianShift: 7am-3:30pmJob Description:
- We are looking for a skilled Electrician for our plant on the west side.
- The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment using PLC troubleshooting skills.
- No programming is needed for the role.
- The ideal candidate will be able to read PLCs and assess issues that arise from automated equipment.
- You will perform repairs on 3 phase motors, switches, timers, power rectifiers, and photoelectric sensors.
- Additionally, you will use tools and equipment to complete tasks such as cutting, threading, bending conduit, removing and replacing conduit fittings, and junction boxes.
- Monthly and weekly calibrations and checks of the facility will also be required.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using PLC troubleshooting skills
- Read and assess issues from automated equipment
- Perform repairs on 3 phase motors, switches, timers, power rectifiers, and photoelectric sensors
- Use tools and equipment to cut, thread, and bend conduit; remove and replace conduit fittings and junction boxes
- Conduct monthly and weekly calibrations and checks of the facility
- Read, draw, and interpret electrical diagrams
Essential Skills:
- Experience in commercial and industrial settings
- Ability to read inputs & outputs and determine where issues are coming from
- Troubleshooting off an HMI screen
- Calibrating equipment
- Root cause analysis
- Experience working with 24v-480v industrial equipment
