We have a prime opportunity available for an expert in automated industrial control equipment. This opening is for a Controls Engineer with a newly built frac and sand plant in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Relocation assistance is available. Enjoy a generous compensation package, yearly bonus, and vehicle allowance while working in a compelling environment with impressive machinery.The Gig:Design, plan, install and maintain industrial control equipment and instrumentation such as loop controls, variable frequency drives, control panels and load balancingWork closely with the maintenance team and assist in routine planned maintenance and emergency repairs of plant equipment including conveyors, bucket elevators, and washing/drying equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical equipment, PLC's and ladder diagrams, AC and DC circuits, electrical sensors and switches, motor controls and servo controllers, safety circuitsInstall, troubleshoot, and repair electric motors and equipment (120, 240 and 480V)Complete preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled, and document finished workContact vendors, of replacement parts on hand for all equipmentQualifications: Strong machine electrical background. Hardwired controls, digital and analog I/O knowledge and the ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID'sProven PLC Programming experience - Allen Bradley RSLogix and Studio 5000 a must, with networking (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.) experience desired. PLC background requires writing, debugging, developing, and troubleshooting PLC's.Proven HMI Programming experience - Wonderware InTouch and Historian a must, with System Platform experience desired. HMI background requires developing, debugging and troubleshooting HMI'sComputer skills - Windows and server environment, load and configure various software on servers and PC'sKnowledge of safety practices such as lockout/tagout, MSHA, NFPA 70E, and proper use of PPEThorough understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsCompensation:$135,000 - $145,000/year to startRelocation assistance up to $10,000Yearly bonusVehicle allowanceBenefits including but not limited to: 401K, health insurance, dental, life insurance, vision, paid vacation, and paid time offShifts:Days, full time hours (Monday to Friday).Must be available to work off shifts, weekends and holidays as neededAvailability needed for on-call/emergency breakdowns.
