Job Description:
Position OverviewThe Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes using PLC and HMI programming
  • Troubleshoot and debug control systems to ensure that they are functioning correctly
  • Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and software programs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in control systems technology and incorporate them into projects when appropriate
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Process Engineer
  • Strong programming skills in PLC programming, particularly Siemens and Allen Bradley systems
  • Experience with HMI and SCADA systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
