Details:Job Title: Controls EngineerLocation: Greensburg, INZip Code: 47240Start Date: Right AwayJob Type: Direct HirePay Rate: $65k - $100k/salary DoEKeywords: #ControlsEngineer #EngineeringJobsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Troubleshoots / Repairs / Re-programs equipment and machinery tocorrect problems with products and processes related to production issues or customer counter measures.* Investigate / implement new sensors and/or machine improvements to aid Product Engineering in reducing downtime and increasing reliability.* Aid in creation of Test Piece Construction Matrix (TPCM) for new model assembly lines.* Build, Test, modify (TPCM) if necessary for the new assembly lines.* Aid in creation of documentation for new Assembly equipment including Assembly Equipment Requirement Sheets (AERS), Test Piece Construction Matrix.* Review / aid the controls programming, installation, and trouble shooting of new assembly production lines in house.* Advise / Assist maintenance personnel engaged in trouble shooting assembly equipment.* Willing to travel to vendors for machine run offs as necessary, both state side and abroad if necessary.* Contact OEM vendor / distributors for support with machine / component failures when necessary.* Complete additional tasks and assignments given by Supervisor/Manager.* Maintain and project a positive attitude with overall consistent and regular attendance.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Must be a US Citizen* Bachelor s degree in Engineering, or AS Degree and 5+ years related experience* PLC Programming, ladder logic (prefer OMRON)* Experience with robotics - Fanuc robots* Electrical control system - manufacturing experience* Excellent problem solving and communication skills (both verbal and written)* OMRON specific training for PLC's and Lab View* Experience in a fast-paced office/manufacturing environment is requiredIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
