Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems that enhance operational efficiency. This position involves working closely with various engineering teams to develop innovative solutions for our manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and equipment
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel
- Document system designs, changes, and procedures for future reference
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in control systems engineering
- Strong understanding of PLC programming and HMI development
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley products and FactoryTalk software is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
