Location: Lafayette, LASalary: $90-130k DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems in various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC programming, HMI design, and familiarity with leading automation hardware and software.Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for automation projects
- Program PLCs and HMIs for various applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Document control system designs and modifications
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field
- Proven experience in control system design and implementation
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens hardware
- Proficient in CAD and AutoCAD for system design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of electrical controls or robotics is nice to have
