Position Overview: The Controls Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems, such as building management systems (BMS), used in a variety of industries. This role requires excellent technical, problem solving and communication skills.Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, troubleshoot, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and other control systems.
- Develop and demonstrate a strong working knowledge of products, systems, programming, and associated technologies.
- Perform system programming and commissioning of BMS and other control systems.
- Work closely with customers to ensure satisfaction and successful implementation of systems.
- Provide technical support related to system operations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems and processes.
- Provide training to customers on system operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems, or PLC programming.
- Strong technical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency with CAD software.
