ESSENTIAL DUTIESLevel Based Competencies Strong written and verbal skills Maintain all logic and PLC programs, install switches, and perform maintenance on thenetwork as needed. Manage records regarding all system software changes and communicate any changesto affected employees.Technical knowledge/skills Perform analysis, detailed design (including documentation), capital request preparation,installation, start-up/checkout/debugging, and cost control of assigned projects. Provide technical expertise in support of capital projects, process evaluation, andequipment modification. Participate in process improvement efforts in support of plant goals. Monitor plant systems, analyze performance, and initiate action for optimization toachieve plant goals for safety, productivity, and cost effectiveness. Maintain all logic and PLC programs, install switches, and perform maintenance on thenetwork as needed. Manage records regarding all system software changes and communicate any changesto affected employees. Manage contractors and maintenance staff during project installations. Create electrical training programs for electrical, instrument, and mechanical teams tostay abreast of federal, state and local regulations. Partner with Plant Mgmt to develop the five-year capital planning and the annualelectrical operating budget. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience An Associate's degree coupled with 5 to 7 years of demonstrated experience in an industrialcontinuous process atmosphere.Demonstrated process control experience in defining, designing, installing and maintainingcontrol logic systems and equipment.Willingness to assume roles of team leader and team member when necessary.Advanced demonstrated communication skills.
