Utilizes Factory Talk View Studio, RSLogix500, Studio 500 Professional, and Panel View 32 to maintain and optimize controls systems throughout the plantEnsures system integration of Information Technology (IT) systems with Operations Technology (OT) systems function on daily basisOptimizes plant processes by editing and/or writing ladder logic programming for a variety of systemsPerforms standard to more complex repairs and is responsible to receive adjust and install new plant equipment ensuring the proper electrical performance; operate a variety of power hand and shop tools as requiredResponsible for the diagnosis of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and similar problems and apply appropriate corrective actionReads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance on or install plant equipmentPerforms advanced electrician duties including, but not limited to, using a voltage meter to check high and low voltage reading on equipment, checking for open circuits for line voltage, troubleshooting frequency, drives for proper operation understanding all aspects of an electrical schematic and troubleshooting/replacing I/O modules in a PLCParticipates in and successfully completes training directed at increasing job-related trade skills as mandated by management/supervisorPerforms all duties in accordance with USDA, company policy, and established procedures and maintains clean work areaPerforms PM's inspections and verifications on all control componentsPerforms frequency drives, writes drive logic in PLC code, creates HMI applications, uploads and downloads PLC Programs and HMI applications, programs ladder logic to troubleshoot equipment, integrates new processes into equipment, sets up network communications, and sets up advanced routing of Ethernet protocolsThe use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required; including but not limited to bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves and safety shoes or rubber bootsThe employing subsidiaries of Schwan's Company are Equal Employment Opportunity Employers. Experience with industrial robotics, robotics programming, and maintenance (FANUC and ABB preferred).Proficient with electrical components sensors and safety devices (i.e., photo-eyes, proximity sensors, limit switches).Proficient with industrial machine Ethernet networking.
