Controls Technician: To provide timely checkout, start-up turnover and service of controls projects. Essential Duties: - Provide sense of urgency toward the completion of controls projects - Coordinate completion of projects - Provide controls electrical subcontractors with termination clarification - Coordinate as-built drawings - Provide as-built editing and set point information - Maintain a skill level for system start-up and troubleshooting of Tracer products, electronic controls, and pneumatics - Maintain company vehicles - Provide Operations Manager with product quality controls items to be used for conference calls to the technical team - Communicate with PM on a continual basis to provide timely response for project success - Communicate with Leader or Operations Manager in a timely manner on problems that occur outside control - Other duties as assigned Requirements: - Trade school or 5 years HVAC systems experience - Must be fluent with MS Office, Outlook and Product specific programming language - Must have minimum one Journeyman license within MD, DC, VA and must have all three within six months of hire - Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record - Able to interact with all levels of management, strong communication skills - Problem solver, detailed, thorough, reliable, self-motivated, deadline oriented Physical Demands & Work Environment: - Frequent visits and mobility within office and job sites - Ability to safely drive commercial van loaded with tools in busy DC traffic - Ability to climb ladders, bend and kneel for extended periods of time, lift a minimum of 50lbs on a frequent basis - Being able to work indoor and outdoor through all seasonal changes We offer: - Excellent pay and benefits - Great and supportive work environment - Professional training and growth - Generous educational assistance program - Recognition and outstanding co-workers!
