Duties include calibration of temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical devices* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to ensure plant maintains a high level of efficiency and reliability* Install, program, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and service programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives and electrical support systems* Repairs or replaces defective parts* Performs appropriate duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to succeed:* Minimum age 18 years old* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies* Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job* Ability to read, write and speak English* Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines* Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets* Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology* Less than high school education; or up to 12 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience* Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required* Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and developing programmable logic controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programs* Ability to collaborate with other team members* Ability to be innovative and self-motivated* Effective organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management* Effective problem-solving skills* Frequent sitting and overhead reaching* Repeated exposure to water and noiseCCBCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled.
