Job Description:
Position Summary The Conveyor Specialist is responsible for providing technical support of automated lubrication systems at the customer facility. Maximizing up time by conducting performance evaluations of mechanical processes including automated lubricators, oilers and greasers, analytical evaluation, problem solving, product recommendations, and process improvement. Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Provides technical support including preventive maintenance, problem identification.
  • Interfaces with internal customers, working on-site to create process efficiencies
  • Identifies cost-saving opportunities in the area of equipment lubrication
  • Performs inspection and documentation of equipment operation every month.
  • Makes recommendations regarding repairs and repair parts required.
  • Evaluates mechanical processes in relation to utilization of materials
  • Understanding customers' equipment used in manufacturing processes and provides appropriate recommendations for spare parts and repairs
  • Research product information from suppliers, manufacturers, Internet, and reference sources
  • Communicate findings and offering appropriate recommendations on processes.
  • Work with customer to ensure all Chemico controlled areas are kept clean
  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and the internet required
  • Familiarity with other software applications

Work Environment: Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment. This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role requires presence on the manufacturing floor and a significant amount of walking on concrete surfaces. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Ability to work in team fostered environment. Ability to work in multi-tasked environment. Strong personality and focus in fast-paced and demanding environments. Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
