Job Description:

Our client is a leading technology manufacturing company specializing in cutting-edge solutions for the semiconductor industry, dedicated to innovation, operational excellence, and high-quality production standards. As the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a critical role in leading and optimizing operations across IC fabrication and equipment manufacturing facilities.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for overseeing production and planning across multiple sites, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with strategic business objectives. This role is key for driving continuous improvement, managing large-scale production projects, and upholding quality and safety standards within a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all production, planning, and operational functions across IC fab and equipment factories (8-inch and 12-inch).
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability across all manufacturing sites.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, driving engagement and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure production goals are met and aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to meet production demands and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support the company's strategic vision and execute business initiatives.
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in production and planning within the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in IC fabrication (preferably 8-inch or 12-inch fabs) or with semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership skills with a record of managing large-scale operations and cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational KPIs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
