Our coastal open-air restaurant will showcase regional seafood and ingredients, providing a unique dining experience for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will make a mark on the island's restaurant scene.Job Description:* The first 3 weeks will focus on training, obtaining ServeSafe Food Handler and TIPs certifications, and getting oriented into our company culture/operating guidelines.* Upon restaurant opening, responsibilities include but are not limited to* Prepare high skilled, high quality foods for guests based on established standards* Keep work area clean and organized* Ensure food production is consistent with the established menu and recipes* Control quality, consistency, taste and food cost* Communicate all relevant information to management regarding: Ordering, Food preparation, Staff, equipment, safety and sanitation, guest feedback.* Be up to date on all guest services, promotions and events in the Hotel* Communicate all relevant information to management regarding: Ordering, Food preparation, Staff, equipment, safety and sanitation, guest feedback.* Be up to date on all guest services, promotions and events in the Hotel* You are the key member making a mark on our guest experience by making them feel welcomed, comfortable and attended to
