Our food is made from scratch using quality products and we feature small / sharing plates as well as a full menu in each of our two restaurants. **We seek those with some cooking knowledge who want to take their food service career to the next level!**
**JOB DUTIES** * Understanding of culinary terms, techniques & safety
* Some proficiency in kitchen operations & equipment
* Completes inventory, stocking & ordering of items
* Ensures presentation of food items adhere to guidelines.
* Follows recipes, scales ingredients and uses proper kitchen techniques when preparing resident meals.
* Ensures kitchen runs efficiently by completing prep cooking as needed.
* Keeps kitchen and work stations clean and sanitary.
* Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
* Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
* Displays excellent communication including ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
**Qualifications:**
- 2 years cooking experience is preferred, one year required.
