POSITION: Cook / Aid $500 Sign on bonusAs a Cook / Dietary Ad, you prepare and assist with cooking all menu items as needed. Prepare and deliver food trays to hospital patients. Acts as a soux chef to the Cook. Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality. Sets up and deliver for catering events. Maintain clean and organized work area allowing for continual delivery of optimal food service.DUTIES:Assists cooks and aides with preparing foods on weekly menu.Assists with dishing all patients' plates for tray line & taking food to cafeteria on time & placing in serving counters.Washes all pots & pans & equipment used during the day, if needed.Assists with estimating food preparation according to census & cafeteria.Receives food deliveries and restocks all supplies as needed.Follows safety and sanitation rules and takes appropriate safety precautions when performing tasks.Completes monthly cleaning assignments.Assists with ordering of food & supplies as needed.Assists patients with menu orders. Communicates with room aide and nursing regarding diet and menu orders.Able to operate Point of Sale (POS) cash register system.Prepares & dishes all cold food items for patients.Assembles & delivers patient trays for each meal on tray line. Assists patients with tray set up as needed.Serves late trays to patients as needed.Assists patients with menu orders.
