Position Type: Nutrition Services/Cook / Cashier Date Posted: 10/2/2024 Location: Owatonna Middle School Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: Open until filled District: Owatonna Public Schools Position Summary: Responsible for the main preparation function at a production kitchen for meals served to students and staff in accordance with USDA and local guidelines. Includes preparation of food, clean-up and record keeping. Assists with preparation, meal service, and clean up procedures for nutritious and attractive meals served to students and adults according to USDA Child Nutrition program guidelines. Position Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds. Basic math skills including computer applications experience. Certification with the American Food Service Association at Level 2 within three years of date of hire.
