Crossing Rivers Health provides competitive pay along with an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision; life insurance, short term disability, paid time off, a retirement plan w/company match, and more!Our core values are practiced and exhibited throughout the organization in our actions and in services provided.Joy : Unity : Integrity : Compassion : ExcellenceEssential Job Functions* Prepares and serves meals in an efficient and timely manner, using standardized recipes and following cycle menus/therapeutic diets.* Maintains the daily statistical log of all meals prepared and served.* Follows First in, First out procedures.* Packages, labels, stores, and dates food and beverages as necessary and within proper expiration guidelines.* Organizes and prepares for the following day's menu, anticipating frozen foods and foreseeing necessities.* Provides proper and professional direction to Nutrition Services Aides, as necessary.* Prepares and delivers snacks and meals for patients.* Cleans, stores, and utilizes all equipment safely and properly.* Answers phone calls and properly communicates and documents calls and request.* Checks and records sanitizer concentration and food/beverage temperatures.* Operates a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.* Cleans kitchen as outlines in policy and procedure.* Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Nutrition Services equipment and requests training when necessary.* Performs and/or delegates other duties as deemed necessary for the continued viability and success of the department and the organization as a whole.* Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary department in conjunction with OSHA standards and Crossing Rivers Health policy.* Utilizes appropriate channels of communication.* Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to policy, procedures, rules and regulations of Crossing Rivers Health, including all safety and disaster plans.* Attends and actively participates in staff and employee meetings, committees, etc.* Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned to effectively meet the needs of the patients, the department, and the organization as a whole.Competency Statements* Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.* Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.* Communication - The ability to get one's ideas across to others through oral or written means and to understand the ideas of others through effective listening skills.* Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.* Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.* Responsible - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.Reasonable Accommodations StatementTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
