Job Summary:
The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with currentapplicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that quality food service is always provided.
Essential Duties:
· Review menus prior to preparation of food and prepare timely meals and snacks according to food safety guidelines.
· Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending physician and dietician. Assure that food is available for preparation by cooks.

Qualifications:
· One (1) year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred but not required.
· Must have State Food Service Sanitation certification.
· Food Sanitation License preferred.
