**Description**
**Summary**
Play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction of The Fish Peddler. Prepare food for service and ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Responsible for product and menu knowledge, and quality control.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Duties include but not limited to:
* Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
* Prepare food for service.
* Demonstrate detailed expertise of cooking and holding requirements for products offered.
* Prepare all menu items for service.
* Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
* Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and customers.
* Perform other duties, as assigned.
**Qualifications**
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to successfully perform the job.
**A. Education and Experience**
Required:
* None
Preferred:
* One or more years of experience in the preparation and cooking of seafood and related products, or a combination of training and experience.
* Prior formal culinary training.
* Food handlers card.

* Strong customer service skills
