This role allows you to focus on what you do best -- cook! We have a fulltime Dining Services Director to handle supervisory and administrative duties of the kitchen.

Meal times are a highlight of our residents' days. Our cooks play an important role in preparing quality, delicious, nutritious meals for our residents. Enjoy the reward of bringing a smile to their day.

FULLTIME and PARTTIME available

**Ideal Candidate**:

* 2 years scratch food preparation experience

* Read and follow recipes including special diets

* Prior experience regularly preparing meals for large groups

* Dependable

* Serv-safe-certified

* Works well in fast-paced environment

* Customer-focused

* Enjoys seniors

**Job Duties:**

* Prepares meals timely.

* Skilled in higher level meal preparation: roasts meats, prepares casseroles, scratch recipes, etc.

* Ensures meals meets nutritional requirements as well as appetizing in appearance.

* Prepares food based on standardized recipes.

* Assists in preparation of special meals and for special events.

* Operates kitchen efficiently and safely.

* Assists with daily kitchen duties and putting up stock.
