We are currently seeking Cook's to care for our Veterans.Join our team if you want to give back to those whohave given so much for our Country. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Performing general cooking duties.
  • Mixes and cooks specialty dishes and delicate foods.
  • Maintains records of food used and supply on hand.
  • Maintains dietary work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.
  • Insures proper storage of food.

A fingerprint-supported national background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment. *This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $4.88 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034Section 9(1).* This position offers 15% on top of base pay for all hours worked on second and third shifts and 25% on top ofbase pay for all hours worked on a holiday or weekend. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION:NONE EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:One year of cooking experience in an institutional or large scale commercial setting. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:Vocational training in food service will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis. Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:NONE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):NONE Working Conditions Typical working conditions for a specific position may be listed on the individual position description.
