Full and part-time positions are available.To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other team members. You will be an experienced line cook that enjoys preparing quality food that results in customer satisfaction.Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare food for service (i.e. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment.Restock and/or break down workstation at the conclusion of the shift.Assist in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste.Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.Speed and efficiency are of the utmost importance. Ability to multi-task and maintain organizational structure.Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.Requirements & Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAbility to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.Legally authorized to work in the U.S.Ability to communicate effectively in EnglishProven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.An upbeat and friendly attitude.Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours.Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.Able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more.Full-time employees can take advantage of medical, dental and vision benefits.Discount employee mealTime and half pay on six major holidaysCompetitive wagesRoom for advancementOHM Concession Group is committed to positively impacting the lives of our Associates, Families and Business Partners.#J-18808-Ljbffr
