**Job Description**
This is a full time position with rotating weekends. Hours are from 8am - 6pm daily.
**Responsibilities Include:**
* Help plan weekly menus for clients which includes breakfast, lunch, sack lunches, and dinner all in accordance to nutritional standards, medical, and religious requests. Makes available and prepares the scheduled meals according to the menu.
* Consult with a Registered Dietician at minimum annually for menu review, and during times of medical special diet request.
* Help with ordering food items, and kitchen supplies within assigned budget with the approved suppliers. Monitors inventory of food items and kitchen supplies on a regular basis. Responsible for maintaining all health code standards to ensure safety compliance for kitchen and dining areas. Ability to lift or move items up to twenty-five pounds. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
**Education/Experience**:
* High school diploma/GED and a valid drivers license. Fluent in English language written and verbal. Experience with large quantity cooking for 80-100 persons, health and safety requirements, volume food purchasing and menu development according to nutritional standards. Serve-Safe Certification required or complete certification within orientation period.
Must be a team player, have good people skills, and a strong work ethic.
