Job Summary: 12:00PM to 8:30PM
Description: As a Cook in the Dining Services Department, you will ensure high-quality, nutritious food is prepared and served in a safe, efficient manner. Your role involves managing food production, maintaining kitchen standards, and working collaboratively with the dining services team.
Responsibilities: - Cook and time food to be ready for service, following recipes and maintaining quality.
- Use safe food handling, store items properly, and maintain temperatures.
- Track food usage, temperatures, and inventory.
- Keep the work area clean and manage spills.
- Open/close the kitchen, handle equipment, and communicate needs to supervisors.
Requirements: - Cooking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work alternating shifts.
