Description: A cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food in a dine in restaurant. Cooks are responsible for working with Front of House staff to ensure orders are made correctly. Cooks are also responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen in the restaurant. Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the kitchen. Additional Info: •Food preparation (e.g. cooking sides, preparing sauces, etc.) •Comply with health code •Operate various kitchen appliances such as grill, stove, soup heater •Communicating with coworkers •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment •Stock inventory appropriately •Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion •Maintain a professional and cooperative approach with employees •Clean work station before the end of your shift
