CookJob DescriptionFollowing the direction of the Chef, the cook will maintain a designated station in the kitchen executing recipes and menu items with precision, speed and consistency. Embody the Tacombi Food Philosophy and Culture.Job Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and menu item components daily to maximize efficiency and assist co- workers with other required prep duties when needed.
- Assemble the taco orders making sure that each order is prepared exactly as it was designed and in a timely manner.
- Maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction; ensure the work station is always clean and organized.
- Constantly monitor and maintain food temperature pursuant to Station Temp Log, before, during and after service.
- Follow the direction of the Chefs, always striving to exceed expectations
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule and ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Prep or Line Cook.
- A positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
- Clean and organized with understanding of DOH standards.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to learn, take direction and work in a team environment.
