Under the ownership of First AtlanticHealthcare, Ross Manor follows in First Atlantic's long standing reputation forexcellence in Long Term Care.Hourly Rate $18.00 - $20.00Full Time with every other weekendCook Job SummaryWorking for a Maineowned company while taking care of Maine people our Cooks work with a busyDietary Services team to prepare appetizing and healthful food based on thenutrition and health needs of our Residents. Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
  • Review menus priorto preparation of food
  • Inspect specialdiet trays to assure they are correct
  • Preparation, cooking,and service of a variety of foods
  • General cleaningup of kitchen
  • Dispose of foodand waste in accordance with established policies
  • Coordinatedietary service with other departments as necessary
  • Assist in standardizingthe methods in which work will be accomplished
  • Assure that foodand supplies for the meal are readily available
