Summary The Cook is responsible for preparing necessary meals and food items to support the dietary and food service needs of the patients, visitors, and employees of the hospital. Duties include food prep, kitchen clean-up and customer service. This position works with a fun, close-knit team who enjoys their jobs! Deliver food to patients and help customers. - Shifts are during the week, 6:00AM to 3:00PM, no guaranteed hours
- No benefits available for this position
Pay
- $19.44 or more per hour, pay determined by experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Successful completion of Safe Food Handling course preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in an institutional food service department preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate and interact with patients, visitors, and employees in a professional, appropriate manner.
