We are a caring and vibrant community home to more than 225 residents in independent living apartments, supported living studios, and a 5-star skilled nursing and rehabilitative facility. We are looking to add a Lead Cook to our fabulous team. As a Lead Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. Your attention to detail, culinary skills, and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the success of our ala carte restaurant style menu, with 8 entrees that change daily. High school diploma, some college a plus JOB SKILLS: Previous experience in the food industry, hotel, or restaurant Knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen tools Familiarity with restaurant operations and meal preparation Understanding of food safety practices and regulations Knowledge of computers and basic software Lasell Village considers the health and safety of its residents, family members, and team members as its highest priorities.
