The advertised position number may be for recruiting purposes only.This position is designated mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events and/or other emergencies.This position is responsible for the preparation of nutritionally balanced, high-quality food for our residents, staff and visitors.Responsibilities include:* Preparing and cooking entrees, vegetables and breakfast items based on computer-generated, standardized recipes and production guides* Meeting productivity standards and time deadlines when preparing food in order to maintain optimum temperature and nutritive value* Checking and recording beginning and ending temperatures of food on the tray line and service lines to ensure proper serving temperatures* Cleaning and sanitizing the equipment used in the work area dailyUsual work hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 5 days/week, including some weekends.
