Job DescriptionOur Cook / Kitchen Staff is responsible for preparing and executing recipes to standard by following process and policies of all operational standards of the kitchen. Cook experience is not necessary.Cook Responsibilities:
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
We're looking for Cook with:
- A strong commitment to excellent customer service and food quality
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes
- Previous experience in a restaurant/bakery (entry level employees also welcome)
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- A desire to work in a supportive fun work environment
- CA Food Handler's Card required (servesafe also acceptable)
