**Cook Senior Meals Program Woodridge**

The L.G.D. of Piney Community Resource Council Inc. is looking to fill the Cook position for the Woodridge Meal Program, which is held Mondays at the Woodridge Community Centre. The Cook is responsible for providing nutritious meals and social support to local seniors and people with disabilities in a congregate dining setting.

Skills:

Experience in food preparations for large groups and basic knowledge of Canadas Food Guide

Willingness to learn about special cooking, dietary needs or food preparation for seniors.

Ability to work with, coordinate and schedule volunteers

Good organizational and time management skills

CPR certification and computer knowledge an asset

Conditions of Employment

Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and Adult Abuse Registry

Must be willing to take a Food Handling Course

Have a Drivers License

Must provide vaccination status against Covid-19

1 day a week 6 hours

Starting wage $14.10/hr

Must be available Mondays
