  • Apply the principles of the Schaeffler Production System (SPS) to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Develop detailed working instructions for various processes using the software available at the location
  • Create troubleshooting guidelines to address common issues in the manufacturing process
  • Develop set-up sheets for machinery and equipment to ensure consistent and efficient operations
  • Conduct time studies to analyze and improve process efficiency in B&IS plants
  • Analyze current processes to identify areas where automation can increase efficiency and reduce costs Your Qualifications Required:
    • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Basic understanding of automation technologies and their applications in manufacturing.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders through excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Eagerness to learn and apply new concepts and techniques in a practical setting
    • Flexibility to travel to different locations as required for project work
    • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship. Preferred:
      • Coursework or experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
      • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools relevant to the location (e.g., CAD software, ERP systems)
      • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective troubleshooting guidelines. Our Offering Co-op Benefits Package Including:
