Job Description:The Adjustment Coordinator posts contractual and administrative adjustments not generated by Patient Accounting and/or bolt-on Cash Management systems. Processes all non-cash related correspondence. Required Skills:
  • Ten-key by touch required.
  • Knowledgeable of Patient Management and Patient Accounting systems.
  • Excellent customer service to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Analytical ability to comprehend, interpret and explain contract terms.
  • Excellent Financial analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented ability to set and meet deadlines, and support multiple projects.
  • Solid decision making skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of computers and accounting systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Required Experience:Work Experience: One year of experience with cash transactions, auditing records for discrepancies, reconciliation activities or any financial services related experience. Experience with hospital accounts receivable practices preferred. License/Registration/Certification: None. Education and Training: High School Diploma or equivalent.
