Coord,Student ServicesRequisition IDreq31848Working TitleCoord,Student ServicesPosition Grade08Position SummaryThe University of NewMexico Gallup Branch TRIO Program is seeking a temporary Coordinator of Student Services.Duties and responsibilities include, but not limitedto: under direct supervision, coordinates a variety ofactivities associated with student services, such as event programming, readingand tutoring services, exam scheduling and/or proctoring, student orientation, andcourse advisement.Performsmiscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.See the Position Description for additional information.Conditions of Employment
  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED;at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred Qualifications
  • College credits and/or degree
  • Ability to communicateeffectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of academic advisementprocedures
  • Knowledgeof program/services available to university students
