Coordinates and oversees daily management and activities of the office.2. Facilitates all administrative calls, communications, and mail of the department.3. Facilitates compliance with performance ongoing professional performance evaluations and focused professional performance evaluations for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in the dept.4. Facilitates interviews, credentialing, and onboarding of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in the dept. via PAGNY and the medical staff office.5. Monitors and enforces compliance with stroke educational activities required for stroke center certification.6. Monitors and enforces compliance with quarterly physician time studies and annual in-service and training modules.7. Coordinates timecard completion and payroll activity for the department.8. Processes CME and vacation requests for the dept.9. Schedules and coordinates departmental meetings, e.g. faculty meetings, departmental Pl meetings, and candidate interviews.10. Facilitates and monitors compliance with SART/FRE training for the department11. Arrange training programs for physician staff, e.g. stroke program and demo of new monitoring systems12. Coordinates meetings between ED and other clinical department's leadership.14. Facilitates the processing of research review documents for the department.15. Manages timely processing and submission of grievances.16. Orders and monitors ED departmental office supplies.Minimum Qualifications1. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling; and2. Two (2) years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment, one (1) year of which included experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in such occupations as physical, occupational, inhalation, speech and audiology therapy or as Medical/Laboratory Technologist, Microbiologist (various specialties), Chemist (biochemist), Radiation and X-Ray Technician; or two (2) years of responsible level experience in business management systems or general administration including one (1) year in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or3. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines listed in 1 above; and4. Three (3) years of full-time experience, as described in 2 above, including two (2) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in occupations, as listed in 2 above; or5.
