The Coordinator will also assist with researching and coordinating the internal processes for the launch of new academic programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, the Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement strategies within Academic Affairs operations and processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively with the campus community. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for graduate studies, including managing records and processes, coordinating events, and managing graduate studies processes such as graduate assistantship appointments, internal grants, appeals, and graduate faculty status.
- Serve as a project manager for initiatives from the Office of the Provost, ensuring timely implementation, completion, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to research, develop, and implement new programs.
- Coordinate the internal processes for the launch of new academic programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct needs assessments, compile and evaluate data for decision-making, and prepare financial analysis models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service-related position. Experience in project management, academic administration, or higher education settings is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a broad range of University constituents
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies
