Position Title Coordinator/Business Development - Manufacturing Division Vice President Academic Affairs(DIV) Department Sales and Business Development Job Description
This position will provide overall direction and guidance in the day-to-day operations, problem solving, and decision-making regarding the division's noncredit programs. The position will serve as a liaison in developing non-credit career preparation, workforce training, programs of study, academies, and bridge programs to facilitate the transition of non-credit students into the credit programs.
Essential Job Functions
* Maintain relationships with existing clients and cultivate new corporate connections through community outreach, phone, email, face-to-face meetings, CRM or other means that drive results.
* Collaborate with team members to cross-sell training programs across healthcare and business/IT disciplines to meet diverse client needs.
* Draft contracts for presentation to client companies, including such information as scope of training, cost, number of participants, certificates/credentials to be awarded, location of training, and other aspects relative to training programs.
* Work with in-house trainers/faculty, Deans, and independent contractors to develop program services and activities based on demand to serve the local and regional employer base.
* Market and actively solicit corporate participation in the WEDnetPA grant.
* Assist with the daily administrative functions for the WEDnetPA grant.
* Coordinate delivery of training services, including such things as classroom arrangements, book sales, registrations, and assessments.
* A strong understanding of the Manufacturing landscape in the communities the college serves with an emphasis on continual improvement and understanding as things change in B&I.
* Promote identifiable career pathways and available resources to public stakeholders such as job seekers, students, counselors, businesses, organizations and community partners.
* Lead and facilitate committees, meetings, workgroups and gatherings that help define and communicate relevant and available education, skills and training resources to prospective students, B&I and community partners.
* Participate in speaking engagements, public appearances and stakeholder meetings to represent the objectives and influence outcomes of workforce development initiatives.
* Assist in the coordination of on-campus recruiting activities, career fairs and other community events.
* This position interacts with both internal and external stakeholders and should be able to facilitate needs and solutions.
* Coordinates the program administration and budget tracking and reconciliation processes; develops budget reports as needed; collaborations with supervisor when problems are identified and participates in developing solutions; ensures accurate and timely program reporting.
* Handles complaints, in cooperation with the supervisor, to ensure complaints are addressed in an appropriate manner to optimize overall customer satisfaction.
* Evaluate ongoing and established programs to ensure that value is being added and look for new training opportunities to create repeat business.
* Compile, store, and retrieve sales and program data using administrative software solutions such as ERP and CRM for monthly reports and planning.
* Organize, plan, and report monthly on sales activity and revenue versus goals (KPI's and KRI's).
* Develop courses to be offered via contract training based on customer demand, trends, and feedback and prepare schedules and marketing strategies.
* Oversees and coordinates the use, maintenance, and functionality of various data management systems; monitors data for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations and College policies and procedures.
* Perform job duties in accordance with College policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
* Associate's degree in a related field required.
* 3-5 years of related experience providing complex program support and coordination of program services is required.
* Process management experience is required.

* Demonstrated expertise and working knowledge of technical principles, theories and concepts in field of specialization.
* Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues consistently, confidentially and professionally.
* Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and manage multiple tasks in a constantly changing work environment while paying attention to detail.
* Ability to independently make decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Experience with program planning is preferred.
* Experience related to manufacturing, occupational health and safety, and/or energy related fields is preferred.
* Experience with federal and state workforce development assistance programs is preferred.
* Related work experience in higher education is preferred.

Salary $58,860 Schedule Days/Hours Monday - 8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday - 8:00am-5:00pm, Wednesday - 8:00am-5:00pm, Thursday - 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday - 8:00am-5:00pm, Hybrid Schedule Available
