As our LNG client continues to grow in the Louisiana market, we are recruiting a Coordinator, Construction Project Material for its Cameron, LA location.
This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for warehouse activities to include: receiving, issuing, stocking, delivering, and counting material.
- Delivers materials, equipment, valves, and connections, via forklift or hand dolly for the operations and maintenance activities at the facility.
- Keeps computerized and paper records pertaining to items purchased, delivered, and issued.
- Interfaces with operations, maintenance, and admin personnel while executing their duties.
- May be required in emergency situations to report to work during unscheduled time.
- Applies Health, Safety and Environmental Standards in all working procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Training and experience equivalent to three years of full-time employment in warehousing and materials management, or a closely related field.
- Some experience with a computerized inventory control system, or a combination of education and experience.
- Skills:
- Extensive experience using SAP and MS Office programs.
- Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction.
- Ability to build relationships and in engage with stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong knowledge of material management principles; specifically inventory control, receiving, issuing, using computerized control systems.
- Awareness of procurement procedures, maintenance practices, and operations processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates and other functions.
- Ability to establish relationships with third party vendors to facilitate material movements.
Work Hours: 6AM – 4PM, Mon – Friday (overtime will be required)
