Professional - Position Job Number 370####### Start Date Open Date 06/20/2024 Closing Date Coordinate the identification of students with behavior disorders and the provision or behavioral supports and specialized programming for students with disabilities. Collaborate with principals, teachers, support personnel, district staff, and parents to ensure appropriate implementation of behavioral strategies and behavioral support programs. Provide ongoing technical assistance and training to school administrators, teachers, support personnel, and families. Supervise and evaluate ESE behavior support personnel.Job Description View Attachment Additional Job Information Must have the ability to diffuse a violent, intense and/or volatile situations/crisis. Must have ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders in discussions, meetings, and when conducting trainings. Must have knowledge of and experience in the evaluation processes and the provision of services under IDEA and Florida State Board rule. Must have ability to coordinate districtwide and school specific trainings regarding trauma and resilience, de-escalation, state board rule. Preference for applicants with at least 10 years of experience as an exceptional student education teacher or BCBA and at least 3 years in a successful supervisory role.
