- Creating uniquely tailored job opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities using customized employment techniques and developing a network of employers who use those strategies.
- Cultivating a community of practice among member provider agencies. (There are currently fourteen agencies that are members of the CCE.)
Overview of the Position Job Path is seeking a creative, collaborative person to be the Coordinator for the Consortium of Customized Employment, or CCE Coordinator. The CCE Coordinator responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of the CCE's programming ensuring both excellence in service delivery and compliance with grant regulations. The Coordinator will work closely with the CCE's two other team members, the Director and Associate Director. Our team is small but mighty; we are looking for a team member who is committed to social justice and will help us to grow our impact.The Coordinator position will require 35-40 hours of work per week. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: Data Support:
- Opportunity to shape how CCE gathers and analyzes data
- Maintain CCE employment database to track key metrics, including placements and participant employment status, agency, job coach, schedule, wages
- Assist with data analysis of job development and placements
- Track jobseekers by agency, skillset, interests
- Maintain and update employer contact information
- Keep updated list of staff from CCE member agencies
- Assist with employer satisfaction surveys
- Assist with semiannual grant reporting
Customized Job Development:
- In collaboration with Director & Associate Director
- Research prospective employers based on potential tasks and/or jobseekers' interests
- Conduct employer outreach, attend networking events
- Follow up with employers to develop customized opportunities
- Help create powerpoint presentations
- Meet with job seekers and help match job seekers with customized jobs
- After hire, follow up with agency support teams and employers
- Maintain and grow relationships with employer partners
Community of Practice:
- Help plan CCE calendar of monthly workshops/master classes, job development clinics
- Help organize CCE meetings, send invitations & follow up
- Attend meetings, track attendance & feedback surveys
- Collect stories for use in social media & grant reports
- Obtain requisite releases for above
- Maintain and grow relationships with agency partners
Reports to: Director of the Consortium for Customized EmploymentLocation: This is a hybrid-remote position, requiring at least two days in Job Path's midtown Manhattan office. Additional in person time may be required for training, job development, and presentations. Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree or at least one year experience working with people with disabilities or in customized job development
- Excellent research, writing and data skills
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting, with a keen eye for detail
- Proven experience in collaborating in a team setting and handling a variety of scenarios with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to work with different kinds of people
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
