Join us as we work towards meeting and exceeding the growing needs of our diverse communities, further our lifesaving strategic goals in a rapidly changing environment, and expand our impact on the local, national, and global communities we serve.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and organized Fund Development and Events Coordinator to join our Corporate Communications and Public Affairs team. This role is essential in improving our fundraising efforts across the organization and supporting our corporate events. The position has a high level of autonomous responsibilities with the need to be flexible and manage time effectively. The coordinator will need to be flexible and responsible as their day-to-day activities can vary, including traveling to events within NYBC's geographic areas, some of which fall outside of normal business hours.As the Fund Development and Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in streamlining our fundraising operations across the organization. You will support the Specialist and Manager of Campaigns and Individual Giving by managing tasks such as receipting, sending thank-you letters, and utilizing the Non-Profit Salesforce Success Pack. Your responsibilities will include generating reports for various stakeholders, sending timely acknowledgments, and using the platform to enhance our fundraising activities. Your work will be essential in helping our organization secure funding for development initiatives and successfully execute fund and donor development events.In addition, you will help manage corporate communications events by managing lists, invitations, and communications for approximately 50 annual NYBCe events. On-site, you will provide day-of support for NYBC/NJBS-based events, handling setup, registration, check-in, and breakdown. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for this position.Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Director of Corporate and Community Events to manage the creative production of print and digital marketing materials, including but not limited to programs, invitations, and presentations.Salesforce Gift EntryDaily entry and tracking of enterprise monetary donations into Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack that are received via online, check, and 3rd party vendors.Acknowledgement of enterprise donations through merging and sending of tax receipts and thank you letters through various channels, such as mail, email, and phone calls.Support NYBCe Fund Development EffortsSupports the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns such as direct mailings, emails, text messages, webpages, proposals, and collaborations with other NYBCe staff for location-specific partners and events.Supports identifying prospective individuals and organizations with high giving potential to increase fundraising effectiveness.Assist with conducting research to optimize fundraising methods using SF.Facilitate Measurement Tools.Conduct ongoing review of the various metrics measuring current status and progress.Monitor rational metrics to measure success of NYBCe fundraising efforts.Support Corporate Communications EventsMaintain invitation lists, record RSVPs, and manage communications for approximately 50 annual NYBCe events.Provide on-site support for NYBC/NJBS-based events, handling setup, registration, check-in, and breakdown.Assist Director of Events in managing creative production of print and digital marketing assets, including but not limited to programs, invitations, and presentations.This position may require unrelated duties or work on special projects as requested.This position actively makes recommendations to improve organizational processes across Fund Development and Events.Any related duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation:Associate or bachelor's degree in communications, event management, marketing, development, or related business areas.Experience:Minimum 1 year of related experience.Experience managing Salesforce as part of a team (non-profit or for-profit work environment).Basic level of Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).Intermediate level of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.Licenses / Certifications:A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for this position.For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate is $31.43p/hr. to $35.36p/hr.
