Job Summary:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Serves as coordinator for the Graduate Medical Education Program
Job Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaisons between program staff and hospital/facility administrators.
- Ensures that all Residents are compliant with accreditation or regulatory agencies and assists in the processes of credentialing, re-credentialing, and or privileging.
- Maintains and tracks Resident information, including files and educational reimbursements.
- Coordinates, prepares for, and participates in meetings.
- Assists in scheduling.
- Generates reports as needed.
- Reviews and manages internal requests for program.
- Updates program information as needed.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An additional two (2) years of experience in a related field.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
