- Monitor the State's approved Installers based on the most current list of Missouri Certified Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Devices (BAIDD) Installers by City to ensure compliance of the State guidelines outlined in 7CSR60-2.010 - 2.060.
- Conduct scheduled, unscheduled and under-cover audits/visits on a minimum of 80% of the approved installers annually.
- Ensure that the approved installers and authorized service providers comply with the Responsibilities of Authorized Service Providers (7CSR60-2.040).
- Ensure that the approved installers and authorized service providers follow the operational requirements outlined in the Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device Security (7CSR60-2.050).
- Monitor the suspension or revocation of approval of an ignition interlock device.
- Monitor the approved installers and authorized service providers for proper reporting requirements.
- Provide monthly reports to the Highway Safety Division of MoDOT.
- Respond to specific requests from the Highway Safety Division of MoDOT.
- Provide expert testimony for prosecutors and State officials when requested.
- Provide recommendations to the Highway Safety Division of MoDOT when appropriate.
- Conduct presentations or training as needed or requested.
Typical Qualifications Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Three (3) years demonstrated experience in law enforcement or other criminal justice field with knowledge of DWI laws and arrests.
- Three (3) years demonstrated experience in enforcing standards or quality control type duties.
