Update and maintain documentation on the department website.

Proficient use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Serve as a liaison between various departments.
Provide cross-functioning leadership and technical assistance to managers and to other departments in the division/district through specialized services.
Ensure compliance with TEA, state, federal, and school board policies and laws.
Develop action plans, policies, and procedures to facilitate the attainment of departmental operational targets.
Keep abreast of technical, legislative, and professional development opportunities affecting assigned responsibilities.
Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a directly related field.
Evidence of strong written skills.
Ability to handle difficult situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and impartially.
Efficient and effective decision making skills.
Ability to secure the cooperation of others in difficult situations.
Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, board members, local businesses, parents or members of the general public.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to work independently and communicate with technical and nontechnical staff.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
